The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to lie on the right side of the palm of his right hand facing the Qibla, leaving a special part of his face (cheek). The reason is not unknown. The position of the heart on the left side of the chest. Doctors have always forbidden the application of pressure on the heart. So if someone sleeps on the left side, his heart will naturally feel pressure. The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to clean his bed three times with a piece of cloth before going to sleep so that no poisonous insects would bite him. We are surprised to think that 1400 years ago, when there was no modern medical system, the Prophet Ummi (peace be upon him) pointed out the ideal method of our sleep. His advice was wise and merciful. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to go to bed early after the Isha prayers and get up at the end of the night to perform the Tahajjud prayers. According to Abu Huraira, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to sleep after the Isha prayer. He didn't like to talk after Esha. ' Unfortunately, people in our country's cities go to bed late at night watching TV, many of them can't even read the Fajr prayers before sunrise. If the Fajr prayers are also offered in the congregation after the Esha prayers in the congregation, it is assumed that the whole night has been spent in the prayers. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to think that sleeping after sunrise was harmful for Rizik. Day for work and night for rest or relaxation, night for renewing energy. Depending on the time, a little rest (kaylulah) can be taken after lunch during the day. It is good for health. As a result, the difficulty in worshiping Allah at night is alleviated. It does not require deep sleep. All you have to do is lie down on the bed and get some rest. Sahl ibn Sa'd said, "We used to do qaylulah and eat after the Friday prayers." In fact, those who do not sleep at night are nothing but ignorant. The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to pray before going to sleep, 'O Allah! Save me from your punishment on the day you gather your servants together or bring your servants back to life.' Medical science has also imposed a ban on waking up at night. So let us practice sleeping in the light of Islamic law.
