The virtues and dignity of reciting the Qur'an

The dignity of the Creator over creation is the same as the dignity of the Qur'an over all words. The virtue and dignity of reciting the Qur'an is much greater. There are many rewards in it. The status of the reciter of the Qur'an is also much higher.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘The number of verses in the Qur’aan will be the number of stairs to Paradise. And the reader of the Qur’an will be told, ‘As much as you have read the Qur’an, go up the stairs. He who has read the whole Qur'an will ascend the last stairs of Paradise in the Hereafter. The person who has read some part of the Qur'an will rise to the same level. And where the limit of his reading of the Qur'an ends, the limit of his reward will also end.

There are many narrations in the hadith about the recitation of the Qur'an and the dignity of its reciter. The narrations of the hadith are presented in the dignity of all those associated with the recitation of the Qur'an:

>> The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘That person is the best of you; One who learns the Qur'an himself and teaches it to others. '(Bukhari)

>> Reward for reciting the Qur’an- The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘Whoever reads a letter of the Qur’aan will get a virtue. And one virtue is equal to 10 virtues. '(Tirmidhi) - The Prophet (peace be upon him) said,' On the Day of Resurrection, the one who studies the Qur'an will be told to recite the Qur'an and keep on rising. Read the Qur'an in the same way as in the world. Where your verses are recited, that high place of Paradise will be your abode. '(Tirmidhi)

>> Reward for memorizing the Qur’an The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘Whoever reads the Qur’aan and memorizes it (and pays attention to the rules), he will stay with the honored angels of high rank. And whoever reads the Qur'an in spite of his hardships and keeps himself attached to it, he will be entitled to a double reward. '(Bukhari and Muslim)

>> The Qur’an will be the intercessor- The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘You recite the Qur’aan. Because on the Day of Resurrection, the Qur'an will be an intercessor for its reciter. '(Muslim) - The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) added,

>> In response to the discussion of the Qur'an, there are many rewards in discussing and reviewing various issues of the Qur'an. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘If a community gathers in a house of Allaah and recites the Qur’aan and learns from each other, peace be upon them; God's mercy encompasses them, and the angels surround them. And Allaah discusses them before the angels near Him. '(Muslim)

>> When Hazrat Anas Ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about the need to recite the Qur'an regularly, he said, ‘He (the Messenger of Allah) used to recite the Qur’an by dragging. He used to pull ‘Bismillah’ while reciting ‘Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim’. ‘Ar-Rahman’ would pull, Ar-Rahim would pull. ’(Bukhari)

May Allaah grant the Muslim Ummah the Tawfeeq to recite the Qur'aan according to the instructions of the hadeeth for the sake of thawab. Amen.
